CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats) is a ground breaking technology in biotech, health and agriculture. The ability to generate precise genomic modifications in a relatively simple and efficient manner revolutionized the ability of scientists to study various types of diseases, to develop crops and animals and to better understand genetic processes. Additionally, the CRISPR technology is being used currently in clinical trials in five treatment areas: blood disorders, cancers, eye disease, chronic infections, and protein-folding disorders. During this Symposium, we will present advances in genome editing technologies as well as applications in medicine and agriculture.
We invite you to submit an abstract to the symposium for Posters or Oral presentation. 16-18 abstracts will be chosen for a 15 min oral presentation
- Format: Title, authors, affiliation(s), summary of talk to be presented (up to 200 words)
- All abstracts should be submitted by February 20th 2023
