Californian Research Team Develops New Cas13-Based Surveillance Tool for COVID-19

As the coronavirus pandemic continues, scientists worldwide redeploy their resources to join the battle against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. One diverse team of researchers from University of California, Santa Barbara converged their research efforts to develop a new low-cost SARS-CoV-2 surveillance protocol with the potential for point-of-care and field use.
