One-Time Treatment for the Lethal Premature-ageing Disease Progeria

An exciting new study from the Liu Lab and collaborators show how a one-time injection of the CRISPR base editor gene-editing tool more than double the lifespan in a mouse model of the premature-ageing disease Hutchinson-Gilford progeria. The new research raises the hope for future therapy of the devastating disease for which no cure currently exists. Read our interview with David Liu.
