The Kleinstiver Laboratory (www.kleinstiverlab.org) in the Center for Genomic Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, is seeking highly motivated candidates for a Post-doctoral Fellow position. The recruit for this specific position will play a critical role in managing a collaborative effort dedicated to translating novel genome editing technologies into therapeutics for human diseases. Specifically, in collaboration with Dr. Patricia Musolino (MGH) and Dr. Mark Lindsay (MGH), the candidate will lead the optimization and engineering of safe and efficacious editing approaches to treat pediatric vascular diseases (e.g. multisystem smooth muscle dysfunction syndrome). The applicant will be mentored in all aspects of this research program, providing them the opportunity to play a major role in the pre-clinical development of a new therapeutic approach to treat diseases with major unmet medical needs..
