Samplix is the home of two unique microfluidics instruments: Xdrop and Xdrop Sort. They are designed to support engineered gene and cell therapy research by making it possible to validate gene edits and viral integrations; assess for on- and off-target rearrangements; and perform functional analyses of cells in a single-cell format. They are the only two instruments for encapsulating DNA fragments or living cells in highly stable, picoliter-sized, double-emulsion droplets that are suitable for PCR, flow cytometry, or sorting.
